Refined sunflower oil has a typical vegetable triglyceride behavior, which makes it ideal for low-to-extremely-high-temperature cooking. Sunflower oil is extracted from sunflower seeds through pressing method. The seeds are pressed to squeeze out the oil. The oil is then refined by letting it settle, followed by filtration, neutralizing and cleaning up the alkaline environment with absorbing substance. In the refining process, the subtle odor that remains in the extraction process is completely eliminated. The resultant refined sunflower oil gets a coarse flavor, light & transparent color and heat stability. This oil is ideal for low-to-extremely-high-temperature cooking and has a stable shelf life. People can use this oil for frying as it acts as a vegetable triglyceride.
